Trekking Agencies
If you have a sense of adventure, a bit of time, and a modest budget, it's extremely easy to arrange
a trek with a guide or group after arriving in Nepal. It will cost you less then setting it up in advance,
and much, much less then arranging a trek though a western travel company. The best bet is ask other
travellers for references. In Thamel, post a note on the bulletin boards at the Kathmandu Guesthouse or the
Pumperknickel bakery and you may find a partner or group to trek with.
Lal Man Trekking and Expedition Local Nepalese trekking company.
Three Sisters Adventure Trekking
- women guiding women (male porters, guides as well).
Asian Trekking (p) Ltd Local trekking company, includes
domestic flight information.
Trekinfo.com More trekking info and some good links.
